We had an incredible stay and a lot of that has to do with our UVC rep, Gigi. She was fantastic!! She truly cared about us, our experience and anything we needed she was there to help make it happen. Our trip would not have been the same without her. She deserves a raise and more!! We had a great time at the resort. It is smaller than the other resorts we’ve been to but this was a great change of pace. Small beach that was NEVER overcrowded, a beautiful swim area, amazing snorkelling right off the beach and lots of chairs around the beach and pool areas. The food was good. Because it is a smaller resort it can get a bit repetitive but you’re so close to town (Willemstad) that we would go there for some nice meals. You also have the famous De Visserij piscadera fish restaurant next door, a 7 min walk away, along with a couple of other places. The rooms were clean, the washrooms were fine if not a tad outdated, the staff was incredibly friendly overall and they never expected tips. Some places, the bartenders and staff won’t even look your way if you’re not flashing some bills. Not here. I would highly recommend going to this island, this resort and renting a car for a day or two to see some other beaches, caves, etc. that are so close due to the great location of the resort. Enjoy!
